Hi, I’m Susan Larson, marketing consultant and freelancer for small businesses in Fort Collins, CO.
I started working for software startups in Silicon Valley in the days when VC money was flowing and everyone was rushing toward an IPO. I was continually thrown in to situations that were just a little bit beyond my current abilities and forced to learn on the fly. I loved that. Over the years I’ve successfully transitioned between the software, small business, nonprofit and agency worlds.

Just for fun
Much of my free time is spent in service to this community that I have come to love since moving here three years ago. Currently, I serve on the board of Open Stage Theatre and Company.
I’m also blessed enough to have found a home about 500-yards from the Reservoir Ridge Natural Area. I spend a lot of time on the trails with my dog Shorty.
Quality time with family and friends fills much of the remainder of my free time. Girls-nights out, Date nights with my husband, bowling with my Dad and mani-pedi’s with my Mom are all ways I like to spend my time.
I write. Poetry, essays, short stories, editorials. Whatever the muse calls for.
I’m taking horseback riding lessons and riding every chance I get. Horses. I just can’t get enough.
Lastly, I love to travel. I’ve gone to Cambodia and Mongolia with the Habitat for Humanity Global Village Program and have spent extended periods of time traveling through Central America. Molokai is my favorite Hawaiian Island. And spending time on the California Coast is something my husband and I do every chance we get.
